The Seattle Pinball Show has become a tradition for our pinball buddy Andre and our family. This year, we started with lunch at Chutney’s. | Innaias stays focused | This Police Force game was a lot of fun | Flynn checks out this Bug’s Bunny machine, while Guinness and Andre play a couple of other pins in the background | Tournament machines are along the wall on the left | Guinness on the Riverboat | West half of the room |
The east half | This road-construction-themed game has a lot of fun voice acting | Lots of fun to play too! | The electro-mechanical games are well-represented at the show, including this Klondike | A pinball acquaintance of ours has a huge collection of EM pins, and brings many of them to the show | Many are in very good shape, like this Flying Carpet | I had never seen this Hyperball game before…it’s fast-moving and very entertaining |
This is most of the video game room with lots of our favorite classics, and some overflow from the pinball room | Debra shows Innaias the finer points of Neo Candy | Guinness and Debra | Around naptime, it’s helpful to take Innaias out of the noise and mayhem for a quiet break, even if he doesn’t get to sleep | Classic 60’s architecture from Seattle Center | Innaias found a feather | Back with the games |
Flynn and Debra do some puzzle fighting, while Guinness discovers Pole Position | Innaias checks out Race Drivin’, one of the earliest examples of a driving game with “force-feedback” in the steering wheel | The traditional pinball dinner is Thai at Racha | A quintessential Seattle view, from near Racha | Another quintessential Seattle icon | Together, they look like this ☺ | Another nice pairing |
